Linda J.  Pellis-  LCSC, LCICB,  LISTD

Linda was born and raised in Ontario where she developed and nurtured her love of dance.   She has extensive and diverse education and training in jazz, tap, lyrical, musical theatre, character, national dance, and karate but her main focus and love has always been Classical Ballet. She has been very fortunate to study with some of the finest teachers in Canada, the US and throughout the world, and firmly believes of the importance of continued education.

A move to Alberta brought Linda to a very successful and rewarding career in the hospitality industry as the Head Concierge, then National Sales Manager with the Four Seasons Hotels and Hilton International.  She was the first Alberta Member of the prestigious Clef D’Or organization of International Concierges and was also the author of the Guest Services Corporate Training and Policy Manual for Four Seasons Hotels.

Concurrent with her positions in the hospitality industry, Linda continued to professionally teach dance in Alberta, progressing to over 35 years of teaching experience. Her extensive ballet background and training led her to obtain the Licentiate Qualification with the Cecchetti Society of Canada, Cecchetti International Classical Ballet and the Imperial Society of Teaching of Dancing, London England. She also holds her ISTD National Dance Qualifications.

She is currently, the Principal of the ballet division and a member of the management team of the Lecky School of Dance.  She is the past Provincial Representative of the Alberta Branch of the Cecchetti Society of Canada.  She is a dance Adjudicator, and an Examiner of the Ballet Junior Grades and Contributor and Examiner of the Ballet Progressions Syllabi.

Many of Linda’s students have gone on to teach dance and work professionally in dance and related positions.  Linda enjoys working with dancers of all ages, levels and abilities and hopes her students will “Love Dance” as she continues to do!
